this could happen in any work place or school. kids feel like they have to be submissive to managers or principals. we must really protect the kids in school and places like mcdonalds. this should never happen to anyone’s kid and if you are a parent, you should pick your kid up from school or work.

As for you…well known study, but I dont know how far such a concept applies. First of all, about the actual study, try that the participants really didnt CARE about pain they cause? Maybe they relished it, and used authority as rationalization of not being culpable for consequences? Never discount the occasion tinge (or more) of sadism. Second of all, this seems a bit unusual for the other employees to be that stupid as to only be following the orders for their own sake. Hell, he apparently had her blow him afterwards…not commanded…
What an idiot!!! She doesn’t deserve anything except maybe $20 for a thank you from the guy in the office. I can’t believe we have people this dumb or that mcdonalds is responsible for this. I think its a scam they pulled, the three of them. She needed money what better way and easier target than mcdonalds. Hope McDonalds wins their appeal, than maybe she can take her new hobby to the streets.
Bizzare! I couldn’t believe that the manager, her fiance, and employees went along with the callers demands. At least the maint. man and one other employee refused. But either of those should have contacted the local police. This young woman will never have a normal life because of this incident. Did this manager not have any common sense? I know exactly what I would have done if I were in this situation. Some annonymous person calls, claims to be a police officer, tells me to do a strip search… I’d tell him to come do it himself! Send a marked car with a uniform officer. Everyone knows that”strip searches” of employees is considered sexual harrassment! DUH! Further, I think that 98% of the US population knows that strip searches are only conducted legally in correctional facilities. No food establishment tolorates sexual harrassment in any way. Whoever this manager was is utterly stupid if she thinks anyone believes that she thought she was doing the right thing. How stupid do you have to be to not realize that it was a hoax? There is no way you can expect me to believe that everyone in KY is that dumb! This really is a no brainer. I hope that each of the persons that participated in this girls humiliation and torture gets the max punishment by law.
I’m not sure how responsible McDonalds Co. is concerning this incedent. maybe they should require all potential management to take a test concerning such matters and scenarios. And they must pass 100% before assuming a managment position? Maybe McDonalds already does this. I don’t know. It just irritates me that the manager didn’t exercise common sense. Just my opinions.
